Jim McGrath joined PHA as Communication Manager in November 2007. Jim has more than 15 years experience in communication, marketing and media liaison roles. His experience spans public and private sectors with stints at Centrelink, Department of Finance and Administration, Department of Health and Ageing (DoHA) and most recently as Communications Manager with AvSuper.
While at DoHA Jim also had some exposure to biosecurity issues as part of a team working on a whole-of-government response to the Avian Influenza threat. Jim is responsible for the support of Plant Health Australia programs with communications, public relations and media activities.
