Dr Terry Rose completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Science at the University of Sydney before working as an extension agronomist for the NSW Department of Agriculture (now I&I NSW). Terry also gained valuable agricultural experience by working in the UK for a private agronomic firm. After returning to Australia to complete his PhD in plant nutrition at the University of Western Australia, Terry moved to Japan to work as a post-doctoral researcher in rice nutrition.
Terry forms part of the Biosecurity Planning and Implementation Program at PHA, and will be involved in the development and review of Industry Biosecurity Plans and farm biosecurity awareness material.
