Dr Glen Kile
Director
Dr Glen Kile (B.Agr.Sc. (Hons), PhD) was the Managing Director of Forest and Wood Products Australia (formerly Forest and Wood Products Research and Development Corporation) from 2002-2008. He was Chief of CSIRO Forestry and Wood Products from 1992-2001.
He has extensive experience and achievements in R&D leadership and management, research partnerships, science and technology issues pertaining to forestry and forest-based industries. Trained as a plant pathologist he is author of over 100 publications.
Glen is a member of the Australian Plant Pathology Society, Institute of Foresters Australia, and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering and Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is also member of the Board of Management of the Australian Biosecurity Intelligence Network.
