Ways to engage the working group

The ways you can engage the Domestic Quarantine and Market Access Working Group are described below. Choose a way that best suits you.

Before engaging the group, check that your issue is relevant to the group by reading types of issues to raise with the group.

1. Contact a working group member

Raise your issue directly with your local working group member.

2. Contact your industry organisation

Ask your industry organisation to raise the issue with the working group on your behalf.

If you are uncertain about which industry group to contact, you can either:

3. Contact Plant Health Australia

Ask Plant Health Australia (PHA) to raise the issue with the working group on your behalf. You can do this by contacting PHA's representative on DQMAWG on telephone 02 6260 4322 or email admin@phau.com.au. PHA is Australia's plant industry-government liaison group.

4. Raise the issue at your next industry meeting

DQMAWG members already attend annual/seasonal/special purpose industry meetings and will address relevant issues during these. If you are aware of an upcoming meeting where your industry would welcome DQMAWG attendance please contact your local member.
